Get your IKO kiteboarder certification! Each of our students gets their own IKO certification card. There are 3 basic levels for the rider. Work on your goals until you complete all 3 levels. This is your roadmap to success and your checklist for safety. Level 1 can be attained in our beginning 3-hr course. Level 1 and 2 can be obtained in our 6-hour complete course to ride!

Rent Gear Worldwide! You will need your IKO certification to rent gear and even to access some beaches when traveling.

How do you get your IKO Rider Certification? If you are not a student we offer to observe your skills and certify you for $50. If you are a student the certification is free with your lesson. Your instructor will submit your email and rider level to IKO, IKO will email you with a free membership. In this email, there is a link to complete your profile on the IKO website, to give feedback form to fill in on their instructor/lessons and an offer to buy a premium membership at 50% off. Your rider certification is then in your profile and they can access it anytime. There is also an IKOintl app you can download free where you can see your certification on your phone as a ‘vCard’.

What is the premium IKO membership? IKO free membership includes some free videos and information. The premium membership includes extensive tutorial videos, handbooks, and e-learning, and kiter insurance. The price is $30-$50/yr. depending on the level you choose.
